SP · product family

Compact thrust when machine space is limited.

SP places the drive parallel or at an angle to the axis. The assembly stays short while retaining robust spindle technology, sensors and adapted mounting interfaces.

Sizes & drive

A standard programme as the basis – sized for the load case.

Design & drive

Drive
Worm-gear motor keyed directly onto the spindle (feather key)
Spindle
Ball screw or trapezoidal screw
Mounting
Eye or trunnion journals, optionally with trunnion brackets

Standard sizes

Five sizes per design. Stroke and speed follow from the actuating force.

Sizemax. force
5up to 8 kN
20up to 15 kN
30up to 25 kN
50up to 60 kN
60up to 80 kN
  • Duty cycle up to 100 % ED
  • Stroke & speed depend on the actuating force
  • all common motors can be mounted
  • coating, stainless steel and ATEX possible

For heavy-duty and special cases we also realise much higher forces (up to ~500 kN) as a custom design.

Classification

When SP is the right technical fit.

machine modules with limited axial space and demanding integration requirements

01

Typical applications

  • compact machine modules
  • retrofit with fixed installation space
  • parallel and angular drive arrangements
  • lifting motion with protected motor space
02

Strengths

  • short axial installed length
  • flexible motor position
  • good integration into existing machines
  • high adaptability
03

Check before selection

  • define gearbox and motor position early
  • check access for assembly
  • derive mounting points from the drawing

Motors & motion control

Platform-open: classic three-phase – or servo for motion control.

We build the actuator. You choose the motor that drives it – from a robust three-phase motor to a servo drive for demanding motion control.

Options & variants

Tailored to the load case – not off the shelf.

Design and size are only the start. Mounting, protection, adjustment and finish are specified to suit the machine and environment.

Dual drive / synchronisation
Dual drive / synchronisation Two actuators mechanically coupled by a connecting shaft – synchronous motion without control effort.
Bellows
Bellows Protects the piston rod and spindle against dirt, dust and splash water in harsh environments.
Flange mounting
Flange mounting Front flange for a stiff, defined connection to the machine structure.
Handwheel adjustment
Handwheel adjustment Manual emergency or fine adjustment directly at the gearbox – even without power.
Stainless steel version
Stainless steel version Corrosion-resistant for hygiene, outdoor and wet areas – up to a full stainless build.
Foot mounting on the barrel
Foot mounting on the barrel Additional support via clamps or feet on the barrel tube – ideal for long strokes.
Heavy duty from 80 kN
Heavy duty from 80 kN Robust large sizes for high continuous forces – well beyond that as a special build.
